Meet Rhonda Durham
I have lived in Clackamas County in the Elwood Area of Colton, Oregon for 25 years and have been in the HVAC industry for 40 years.
I have a grown daughter who graduated from Colton schools and is now a 2nd grade school teacher on the Southern Oregon Coast. My husband is retired and tinkers with his cars (in his garage with a mini split) and hangs around home with our German Shepherds.
My Background
In my career, I worked mostly in customer service, but also in the credit and service departments, cleaning up the messes of others, customer service, sales and service personnel, and trying not to make any of my own.
My time has been spent caring for customers in need of products and in-home services relating to their home comfort and safety while working within their budget.
I started at The Heat Pump Store in 2016, or 10 years ago, as Customer Service Manager.
Within two years, I was asked to join the field team doing home assessments and design and sales for ductless heat pumps.
I love to provide a higher level of service and customer service to my customers, and that service is matched by the company, our distributors, and partners.
What I Specialize In
I specialize in ductless mini-split heat pumps, although I also do manufactured home heat pumps (replacements of electric furnaces) for programs.
I work with Clackamas County Weatherization and Energy Trust of Oregon to provide low or no cost heat pumps to our neighbors who qualify, but also offer comfort and energy-saving solutions in million-dollar homes.
About Ductless Heat Pumps
Ductless heat pumps provide high-efficiency heating and cooling without the need for ductwork. They are zonal systems that allow direct and secondary conditioning to small and large spaces, problem areas, or entire homes and businesses.
Mini splits use heat transfer from compressed refrigerant to capture and then move heated or cooled air instead of using expensive electric resistance heat to create heating and cooling.
They are whisper quiet, with special fans that are designed to use little electricity, designed to speed up and slow down instead of having a hard start on and off.
Using a mini split is like coasting your car downhill... the engine is running, but you usually don't have your foot on the gas!
Many of my neighbors have installed a single zone in the primary living space, some adding a second in the master bedroom, to do the heavy lifting to cool their home. In winter, if you prefer wood heat, you can set it low so it only comes on when the fire starts to die down, so you don't have to wake up to add a log, or to wake up to a cold house!
Referral Program
If you directly refer anyone to me who purchases, The Heat Pump Store will send you a $100 thank you.
A Personal Note
I have been blessed beyond measure and am grateful to God for the love of my family, friends, and neighbors. I look forward to adding you to that list.
